I am much like a disappearing act with the blog. First, I was under the bombardment of the most irritating sort of spam. The server cut my blog off - informing me that the cgi-bin is corrupting because of the spam script. So, I thought the blog was lost forever.
I spent weeks converting this MT blog to its Wordpress counterpart, but CSS gave me a headache and I had to give it up too.
Miraculously, the blog is functioning again, though I am still combating spam on an hourly basis.
My instincts tell me its time to upgrade to Movable Type 3.31.
I think I shall follow them, and see you once the enemy is conquered.

Dhaval: Sorry, dude - the update turned out to be quite taxing, the entire CSS had to be built again and modifying the default MT templates took all my energy. I am glad at least the individual archives look better now - am still left with the monthly and categorical ones! Anyhow, enough of my cribbing - sorry for not being able to reply to your comments, but it won't happen again. Promise :D

You could use the default Akismet plugin in your Wordpress installation to get rid of spam automatically and also set-up moderation keywords.

Harry: Old Habits die hard, what can I say! Am back to Movable Type and this has some hardcore spam blocking system. The only downside is that the comments have to be manually approved - which kinda cuts the fun!
But anything to get off Viagra notifications!

Hey Nikhil: A good indicator of how truely lazy I am, eh? I love the layout so much better than the ones before - coz they all followed the same lines and only experimented with the header and a single solid color. This, is more expressive and is much closer to my heart in terms of the colors (lime green amongst tranquil blue) and placement.
Oh well, like always, welcome back once more!
