Massive Discount

My mom used to say when you spend money and learn a lesson, thats the most valuable investment. And so, I bought a lesson today.
Going shopping for a gift, a friend wanted to tag along. Apparently, gifts are great to give, but only if they don't burn a hole in your pocket. However, I think she mistook the whole idea.
She convinced me that there's some shop that gives her massive discount (which girl can resist the term 'massive discount'?) and told me I could take her name and my job ought to be done.
Impressed with her 'naam hi kaafi hai' offer, I told her its even better if she comes along. The shop was more expensive than the others I had been to - but what the heck, massive discounts are hard to ignore, eh! As soon as we reached the cash counter, suddenly she had an urge to go back home and we did our customary bu-byes.
I ended up getting a massive discount of Rs. 75/- and paying the double of what I was willing to.
The only thing massive was the darn lesson...
