Chill Thrill

Delhi has suddenly decided to become chilly in the mid of October. Peculiarly, the electricity bills will now run to a minimum with no air-conditioning to boost it up, as well as the lack of revolving fans around the house. Infact, within the next few days it will stablize back to its original position with hot water boiling in electronic geysers.
It is strange, indeed. But of course, one can honestly predict summer's soon in the air. Irritation crops up from the fact that 6:30 p.m. is now pitch dark and driving around in Delhi traffic is suicide.
Yesterday was a day of revelation. I met my school friend after many months who once again was confused in her relationship dilemma. Next time around, I plan to charge her for my counselling fee. I wonder why girls are so adamant to draw a line between friendship and relationship and fail to understand that friendship in itself is a relationship and need not be tagged with other convocations. No wonder I'm losing hair...

Prashant: Just the other day I had to make a U-turn from a perfectly decent cut and I gave the necessary indicator to move from the left lane to the right. A scooter comes zooming from the back and halts just miliseconds before a crash into my car.
I tell you - I faced death in the face - it had two-wheels.

Picture this.. Me and a friend taking a U-Turn in front of our college in his swanky new Honda City.. A scooter comes in full speed and bangs into the driver side door... Delhi scooterists... no words for them..

Lime:

Prashant: I think we can still conjure words for the scooterists - but the rickshaw-wallas.. hey maa!!!

True that... have had that my-whole-life-flashed-in-front-of-my-eyes experience most of the times I've sat in a rick... :)

Lime:

Ever tried talking to a rickshaw walla? They have an extremely good sense of humor.. you hear their jokes and they let you ride at a discounted price. Really!

yeah... been there.. done that...also have paid 100 bucks for a ride from Barakhamba Road (my school) to Model Town (my home).... gawd.. I was so desperate and tired to get back that I paid watever he asked... Ah.. memories :)

Lime:

You're from MSBK? Screeeeech!

Lime:

:P Well I hope its not, 'coz I belong to the same snob club..

Its a small world now isn't it!

Lime:
