My friend today told me an interesting story. A friend of her sister, she tells, was seriously involved with some guy in her locality. Her family was unaware and the affair continued for many years. Apparently, she knew she was destined for an arranged marriage and didn't want to ruin her life pursuing a dream of getting married to him.
Hence, they parted, in their own solemn way. Few years later her parents brought her the proposal of the same guy. In a week's time, she concludes, they're getting married. "Its destiny, Gursimran. They were destined to be together".
I don't know what she was getting at, but I thought it'd make a good blog post.

lol, that should be one in a million. :D
And o yea I have mt installed. Installing it was damn easy, but I don't think its coming up so soon. It is for sure going to be a LOT of help. But I have to make the main site, and then, maybe, get on with the blog's design and layout. I just hope its all over before by December. ;)
So I think I'll do the blog first. What do you say?

Rohit: Definitely start with the design and then the practical implementation of it. You see, sometimes we like things complex but MT likes things simple. If you want to do a complex thing, you'll probably end up bald on MT because the template is a bit tough to do. My blog design, too, if you see is on the simpler side when I could do so much more - but this itself took me ages! Infact any MT site you catch hold of is bent more towards simplicity. So that'll be my honest advice, make it simple!
Once your design is done, only then will you be able to play with the template in MT. Please remember, as and when you successfully make changes, SAVE. Else, you'd end up doing everything again on doing the slightest of mistakes.
And if u need my help, you know where to knock :D
Sarthak: Encouraging? or.. inspiring? Hehe!
Harjot: Co-incidence or 'kismat', all's well that ends well...

Advice taken. :)
Of course, design first. The blog is just part of the links I'll have on coolro.com. Just like in your case, a separate portfolio and a blog. The only thing I have to decide now is whether to start on the blog, or the main site (somewhat like a portfolio, except, not the money making kind, just to show the little I've been able to do in photoshop and flash.)
Think its worth all the time?? *sigh*

Rohit: Anything that makes you happy is worth your time. Personally, I ditched so many layout and design ideas, but I won't consider it a waste of my time. You learn so much in the process y'no. So you must, must, must give it a shot! And yes, also work on a portfolio and one sincere advice would be to take part in battles at surfunion.. those will change ur life. I know the surfunion tournament changed mine.
Santosh: :P I wonder what I've been blessed with.
