I have a knack to announce the obvious every once in a while. So here we go - Today's Rakshabandhan. Since I don't have any phoren visitors on this blog (or assume I don't), I will take the liberty of giving a pass to its introduction.
However, I will not pass over my due apologies to Preet for not being there this Rakhi. I think I hear a distant - 'its OK'. Great, thats what brothers are for!
A friend suggested that since I don't really have a brother to tie a rakhi on, I should stand in the mid of the road and try tricking passerby's into it. Apparently, I told him, it would've worked out fine otherwise, only I am too good looking to be accepted as a sister on such a short notice.
Some humor on a festive day sure goes a long way...
