Audio Proof

Here's the audio version of the Live discussion at Zee News studios. The female voice (the one thats not asking questions, but answering them) is me, the male voice is a guy who scored a 94% and an 87 in his english.
Kind of self-explanatory how great the education system is. And how reflective are the results of one's abilities.

lol, take my hamper, wining that makes me feel a whole lot lamer...10/10 at that! ;)

And did you hear? A lot of this time's english exam paper correctors were dance teachers from a lot of the major schools including mine and DPS, who were told especially to give low grades to those who use 'hi-fi' vocabulary, which they call 'flowery language'. No matter if its ones natural ability or they've mugged up the hi-fi words. They'll go ahead and give them low grades. Isn't that a shock!

That poor guy, I can almost imagine his face, trying to mumble up the words. It sounded like as if you were absolutely ready to kill the CBSE director. The hindi book example was a nice one, and you absolutely bombarded the grading decision. hopefully someone from cbse would have watched the show.

ok, I am back from my speech, it was prety cool, but we had to cut short some time as we had just a 2hrs to complete the 3 sessions, so we cancled out one session, and just had to complete 2 in 2 hrs, that was kinda impossible, I went very fast in presentation as mine was abt 1hour and 45mins and I had to complete in 1hr.. and also my other friend's presentation was as well same length as mine, so he couldnt go fast.. but then he just left it half a way, and he will continue in the next sessions, thats next month.. anyways, I heard download file.. well, we dont have such a probs here with the Maharashtra board, its pretty managed thats why I think we both nvr agreed on our education system, coz many likes the education system of Maharashtra board, its pretty managed, and we got lots of freedom, we can disagree with author and stuffs like that.. and also like u said abt the English stuffs regarding marks, we also nvr faced those kinds of probs.

Our education system was developed by the British who wanted to churn out clerks and computing machines not visionaries and idealists..The fact that the core of our system remains the same even today kinda explains the attitude prevalent among the educationists and even among some students..

I remember Ayn Rand "The best way to kill the idealist is to enshrine mediocrity" so true ..

Whats worse is that I hardly see any parent or child ever complaining, with a serious tone. Why no protests? Why don't people break into cbse's office? Why no murders when it comes to education? Nothing can be worse then alotting so many precious seats to SCs and STs, more than half of whom I've come so far, are duds, unintelligent fools, who for an act of stupidity, committed by a foolish leader long ago, are now thriving, on the expense of the hardworking, the educationally inclined, the deserving. My words may sound bitter, but the fire within has to come out some day or the other. If not by me, then by the million others. I'm just lucky this wasn't class 12th. Maybe next time I won't be. Who can say?! cbse may boast of a new introduction to fashion studies, but with 59% students passing in Delhi in the class xth boards, I have nothing else to say...

cool answers....I understand your plight regards non-congruence in English grades
