Vakauu!

Coke introduces Vanilla Coke in the desi market - the answer to the favorite coke mein ice-cream formula. Although it does go overboard with the vanilla fragrance and the taste barely even differs, its commendable that now even pesticides smell as good.
The new product is endorsed by the current heart-throb Vivek Oberoi who apparently does justice to the likes of Jeetendra and Mithun in his media advertisements. With the Pepsi Blue and Pepsi Lemon failing miserably in the market - the Cokewallas must be busy pleasing goddess Lakshmi nowadays.
If nothing else - at least it'll start a new trend. Beware - Pepsi's whats there is soon to be replaced by Coke's Vakauu!

i wanna try it out! is it available already? :)

Yea, the ads are kinda ok, but very irritating if you're not in the mood. That guy isn't the heart-throb. Not now nor never. By the way, what does Vakauu mean? strange things these ppl keep comin up with...

Lime:

Rohit: Vakauu is like a 60's movies thing - a part of a famous disco-dancing song, if I may guess right. Quite famous from those days - a Mithun Chakravarty creation maybe.
All ads are irritating when you're not in the mood - infact television viewing would be such a bliss without these adverts. Its not like they're showing us these channels for free - they're charging us a bomb too, but still we gotta go through the mindless nonsense called ads anyway.
Oh well - I had it before it was launched officially - and I do think, yes, it is available :D

Personally, I think the Ad is good...clearly represents it's point of "Kuch Hat ke", dunno if the flavor is going to work in india...vivek is fine, as long as not teamed up with ash... :P

For god sake he looks like her son!!!!!! :D :P

cool I always liked that thing.. but what I used to do was instead of COKE I use Thums Up and Thums Up with Vanilla tastes really amazing. .will try out this Vanilla Coke.. :D

Vanilla has never been my favourite.. And wat's wrong with this Oberoi guy?I never thought I'd see him doing a Jeetendra.
P.S. Rohit .. I think Lime adores Vivek Oberoi

Lime:

Sarthak: So true about Vivek! The Vivash mess has gone too far.. and I like the ad myself - definitely a break in the monotony. At least no girls bare their backs in this one ;)

Rohit: Either her son or her dog.. with the wagging tail all the time - anyway, they're just not it!

Dhaval: Aapas mein dono bhai bhai...

Linus: LOL - not anymore, I am kinda hanging onto John Abraham now.. Vivek totally trashed his reputation with the Ash-Sallu incident..

heh.. it should be Bhai Bahen.. well, when there was no choice of Thums Up I used to go with Pepsi.. and once I had tried Coke also.. but now forgot it's taste.. damn cant wait now.. will surely search for this stuff tommorow.. when I will be going down.. and still I havent seen that ad.. will try to catc out that ad.. on that web site ad is there.. but it requires Real Player... and dont like that install it.

Linus, I know...that's just why I said that!!! :D

Preet Chandhoke:

Oh goodie - now I dun have to shell double the amount BUTt have to live with the Desi version instead :P

Win'Sum'-Loose'Sum'.

Lime:

Dhaval: Its all the same - artificial flavoring at its best. But yea - Vanilla Coke is definitely a one-time try for sure, but only a few people will really get hooked. Its not the kind of drink that you can't get enough of...

Rohit: You meanie.. you! :P

Lime:

Preet: Shhh.. :P Don't say that out loud! And you never gave me a taste of the Vanilla Coke - meanie!

Yeah! I haven't tasted it as yet but I do get the feeling this just might work. Vanilla is my fav. too. The Ad is better than the earlier one...mera mobile n stuff...featuring Vivek n Ash! that was YuKK.....

Lime:

Shonal: It'll work has a hatke drink - but no one can get addicted to it - and definitely people won't go for the 500ml bottle.
Its nice, but not that good! And a definite improvement in the ad - no doubt. I wonder how Pepsi will combat it...

Yes. I do agree a lot of people won't go for the 500 ml PET bottle but if the plan actually hits the market i.e. if they really sell the number they want, they won't mind launching it in 300ml packaging.
Don't worry about Pepsi, they're right on it :P
