The sheer stupidity of bollywood songs has forced me to make another post on the same lines, this time inspired by the lyrical genius of the upcoming 'Lakshya'.
Main aisa kyu hoo,
Main aisa kyu hoo?
Main aisa kyu hoo,
Main jaisa hoo, main vaisa kyu hoo?
Now, even the On the roof song doesn't sound so bad, after all...

u think the lyrics r bad, take a look at the video and the goofy dance steps. Why don't they show this off at the iifa awards...? ;)

hmm, well.. this song is not really bad.. I mean that man is searching for his soul or something like that.. what I got from this song so far.. and also movie theme is a kind of that only.. searching his soul.. so I think song suites the movie.. but then also depends on the movie.. and yet whole song is not shown on the TV so cant really decide.. but liked the lyrics..

I didn't read what Dhaval just wrote. It wasn't true. Just my hallucinations running wild. :P

This bloody song is the craze down south.. I'm truly sick of hearing it again n again

Rohit: That has to be damn freaky - you're addicted - now you even think like me ;)
Dhaval: Perhaps its introspection - but its crap all the same. Repeating 'Main aisa kyu hoo' multiple times in a song is not introspection - its stupid lyrics. Could've been much much better, if its all about introspection.
Linus: You're scaring me! The on the roof song then must've busted the charts!?

such lyrics after the wonderfully fresh Dil Chahta Hai creator sounds pure injustice...maybe he rushed into getting to his "Lakshya"

The song actually just gels with the theme the movie depicts. It's shown how someone who is not keen to do things and parents etc. are all over him to do something and he reliases what he really is after joining the army. The lyrics are little down, I agree. The coreography is done by Prabhu Deva and as always I think it's okay...just showing his flexi!

Patrix: Come to think of it - jaane kyu log pyaar karte hain? jaane kyu, jaane kyu? jaane kyu, jaane kyu, jaane kyu?. See the resemblance? :P
Shonal: May-bee! I just have a major repulsion towards Prabhu Deva's dancing - perhaps that explains my sudden dislike.

well that would have been my response even if I hadn't started blogging. But the damn song was so irritating, I had to blog about it. But yeah, we do think alike and that has nothing to do with being addicted to blogging. Before this idea sprung up, I was about to blog about the rain that hit my city. Talking about rain, the mangoes are ruined. poor you... :P

but at least they were followed by some of the most wonderful words I ever heard...i hope the same happens...

Rohit: Great minds think alike - foolish minds hardly differ - this maybe a typical Miss India question (or even answer), but its only a matter of choice which of the above applies on us ;)
Patrix: Yes, which is a rare find in hindi cinema. Perhaps this too has its hidden meanings.
