I think its quite amusing how the government and the opposition give each other the looks as the electronic voting machines tick. I feel its quite futile to have this whole election melodrama.
Why don't we just have a Lagaan-sort cricket match and the winner comes to power? At least thats more exciting - and not as predictable...
P.S. The SingaporeGuy has returned and brought back something special for me :D

Its total crap, just like cbse. Whoever wins, its gonna make little difference to us, since I dont like any of the parties. Besdes, I try and stay as far as I can from politics. A dirty gutter, but somebody's gotta clean it up! Hey, don't look at me :P

Elections are futile I think - you see the power of Congress is quite prominent, and its such a waste of resources to hold such elections... when we already know the outcome!
And so boring :P

Congress? BJP? do these parties still exist??? Funny how people can re-elect these persons again and again, Take the example of JUDEV, That guy still had to guts to go in for elections, or is that we all are dumb...futile? If actually followed elections is a really good method..instead of just taking over (read musharraf)...but looks like we indians do everything..the way it's not meant to be... :D
PS: The perfume looks nice...although haven't smelled it yet... :P

Well yea, they waste a lot of money. Our money. I saw on ndtv that they're even making customized stickers 4 each party. The list also includes, calendars, toe rings, and photoframes!

Totally agree! I see the watchman wearing a BJP stole with stickers all over his uniform impressing the BJP member living three houses away... Even though this is a democracy - its not one at all. At individual units - it is a dictatorship. Anyway - we could crib all life about dirty politics :(
