Carnival Blues

Woke up at six this morning to study for my computer practicals. Ended up in school at 8:30 giving it. Wrapped it all up by 9:30. The crowd had started pouring in to witness the Winter Carnival, taking place to collect some major funds.
I reached school back again at 1:00 and was there up till 6:30. Had a great time! The DJ was quite good - kept us on our toes and so was the crowd. However, what I would remember best would be listening to Silk Route perform 'Dooba Dooba' - it was so soothing and beautiful.
What caught everyone's fancy however was temporary hair coloring. We had colors ranging from bright magenta to funky blues. Most people had their initials sprayed over their heads.
Makeup donned over most of the evening and most folks ended up in casual pair of jeans coupled with the simplest of sweaters. It became very very cold by the time it was time to return. Shibani Kashyap and Parikrama were still in queue for their performances.
I for one danced till I dropped and caught some great relaxing music. The near last, but unforgettable experience at school. And the nostalgia is enough to take a hgiher priority over the headache and the pain in the legs...

heh so you had great day today, yeah I like that song.. Dooba Dooba Raheta Hoon.. eew... hair colors, I hate them, I dont like it.. they damages the hair and skin too.. I checked the temrature of Delhi its around 14degree C.. thats tooooo cold, here its around 24degree C, I will die there in Delhi, if I come.

Yea, heard bout it. I'm sure it must have been fun. Wow, hair color, that's so wicked. I'd love to get mine done green! That's my favourite color, that's why! Which color did u get yurs done? And there's nothing to loose Dhaval since its temporary! And a bit of hair damage, is a small price to pay to have every head turn on the street. (Is that supposed to be a good sign? ;)

Lime:

Dhaval: Personally, I don't mind getting hair colored in a normal hair color - I have mine streaked in near-blonde.. so I don't mind that. But when its magenta and all - I have second thoughts... My god.. it was 14 degrees lst night! No wonder all of us felt like a refridgerator..!
Rohit: Why didn't you come too? I didn't get mine done in any color - already have them colored, so doesn't make much difference :P

heh... just think about green color hair.. lol.. sounds like alien.. by the way, I got one small plastic teddy, which came with a pencil I had brought a long time ago, that teddy is really cute, having green color hair.. I will have to find it now, where I have put it, and if I find it I will post it on my blog.. oh and by the way, my blog is now back to its track at my original url http://dhaval.no-ip.com/blog , new design of blog is in the production, and my new blog will be having lots of features... main part which craps me is only design, nothing else..

School times are definitely the best and ones that you will cherish forever.

I was gifted blue hair mascara and haven't used it much on myself than used by my pals! Have been through the streaking phase also but back to normal jet black hair. It's nice for a change...and change esp for the better is deifnitely good in life.

Winter Fashion- never get that here other than some "wannabes" wanting to don their branded sweatshirts and other winter gear. It's understandable if it's cold but in Mumbai weather! Good lord no!

Cya..have an exam in a few hours...ugh.

I was way too lazy to leave the warm confinments of my house :D!

I just paid a brief and unplanned visit to delhi, was there to attend my brothers engagement, was there only for 12-14 hours then i flew back to indore, nothing has changed since my last visit which was almost 9-10 months back, but enjoyed my day..

Hmm...looks like u really had a blast out there. I too have plans to visit DELHI, and hope that i do catch some fests out there....

Talking about HAIR colors, I too got drifted away..and got a COPPER GOLD streak, or say more than a streak. My parents refused to lemme in :P...and had to bare all my friends...but personally that experince was quiet gud, although I am not in a mood of a hair color again....and talking about the CHILL, how to u like to live in a 9 degree C, with quiet a heavy fog, and a little drizzle.... :D

Lime:

I know exactly what you're talking about Dhaval Its a pencil holder na - with a red heart for a nose I believe.. I have the same green one too :) Long long back, my best friend gave it to me - I no longer talk to her, but still hold that close to my heart :P
Amrita: Wow, exams and you're off commenting on blogs? Your versatility surprises me :P Its great for a change - you feel like a different person.. and its not a bad thing to do what your heart desires, regardless of what people think. I know.. Mumbai is so darn pleasant compared to Delhi.. this morning the fog was so thick - visibility was only 100m! Ugh!
Rohit: Do the same for your preboards ;)
Kushagra: You should've stayed for longer.. else it becomes too tiring - plus Delhi's nice for a change..
Sarthak: Oh yes, I surely had a blast! Was a great evening and miss every moment of it now that I look back... I too have blondish-copperish-goldenish streaks all over my head but now that hair have grown, they've shifted down.. but still vividly visible when I open my hair in broad daylight...My dad told me to go right back and get it done black again :P but days later he agreed its looking great :P I would love to get my hair done again in that color - I personally adore the look it gives me face.. but then again - I look kinda chaloo ;) So i'll give it a skip!
9 degrees? Brrrr.. its cold enough here already - don't freak me out!

Sounds like you had a really great time..Here at my school , we usually have the carnival some time in August ..

"Delhi's nice for a change..." --- well you may think so coz you live there, i like it a lot specially the NCRs like Noida and Gurgaon, coz i have a lot of pals and relatives there, ya you are right i m felinh a lot tired

Lime:

Linus: What difference does it really make as long as you're having fun :)
Kushagra: But of course, thats only the sone pe suhaaga ;)

preboards, lol hope I could do that 4 the boards too! :D

Lime:

Rohit: And if you manage to find a way to skip the boards and yet make it to the next grade - you know there's another dying to be honored with the same!
