I didn't exactly catch much of the Lycra MTV Style Awards, but when Fardeen Khan got the most stylish male actor award, I think I could've just fainted...
He looks like a drug addict, and I have just no words for his dad - Feroz Khan. Its damn surprising that after the entire drugs mess he got himself into, people still find him stylish.
If you notice, he can't stand erect, his eyes are always half droopy and he never comes properly shaved. His new movie - Janasheen - is a shameless display of vulgarity and half-drunk women. Popularity shmuck...
My vote goes to Vivek Oberoi - so what if he wasn't nominated and wears stupid clothes? He looks good, dammit!

well, I just show the starting part of it, when all stars were comin, and VJs were asking them abt thier style.. Fardeen Khan sucks really.. instead I would give to SRK.. or Abhishek.. atleast Abhishek looks a lot cool then the fardeen khan. and well the blog is almost complete, just a comment system is needed to write, and then some other things like, about me, and all those time pass stuff.. still still havent selected any blog skin, none caught my eye.. the worst thing for me is graphics designing but me tryin to get into it.. and hey by the way, did u checked the video whose link I sent u in email? and also new hotmail preview?

Thank God I found someone else who matches my thoughts bout these things. Its not just Fardeen, Salman the gr8 should b at the top ov the list. I totally disagree with Dhawal, Abhishek looks cool??!??! That should b enough 2 change the definition of cool. If he wasn't the ugliest of man in Bollywood. And SRK bites too. He's always trying to get into this false personality that's so artificial and totally not him. Why can't these Indian actors be more original like Vivek Oberoi, and why can't they act their age once in a while? I mean what's worse than seeing an ancient actor trying to be cool and hep and dancing around a girl half his age, calling her 'pretty woman'! If you're so cool, then why the old lyrics "soni, soni, aaja mahi we...." I still have to come across a cool guy who sings crappy punjabi songs to a woman in front of a formal gathering. Sheesh!! Someone do something about these nut cases....

Sorry Simmi but i dont agree with you at all. Just look at it in a +ve sense....i think Fardeen looks good and Vivek may b ok but hes certainly not styley....

I don't think that Fardeen Khan sucks....he doesn't do acting well but he has damn good looks. So..I think they chose the right person....but if it is for the best then Salman Khan is the person to be awarded! :)

I think we can all conclude that its about personal choices, but the popularity here shows that Fardeen is definitely not da man. I agree with what Dhaval has to say about Abhishek Bachhan - I dont like how he looks, but he has style. He is very well polished and the moment he starts speaking, you know the man has it in him. The moment Fardeen opens his mouth and flashes a smile, you know this guy is just plain high. Rohit had me giggling on what he had to say about SRK, but seriously - I'd agree. For some reason that man just doesn't appeal to me. He's very artificial and hams immensely when he so-assumed-'acts'. People like him just for his tear-jerking moments. I wrote a review on Saathiya where I maintained that Vivek being a newcomer overshadowed Shahrukh.. that guy's lost in touch with what acting is - completely!
Harry: its again about personal preferences and your definition of 'style'. Style is not looking good. Style is carrying yourself. Fardeen cannot carry himself at all - he looks awkward in whatever he wears. Vivek, on the other hand is mediocrely okay - I wont say he's the ideal stylish man. Amitabh maybe.. Abhishek too maybe.. Salman is not bad either. I know of no one who can carry of a no-shirt-stunt other than Salman...
And the same goes for you Kartik :)

Fardeen looks like a druggie. In the Tag Heur hoardings the watch looks better than SRK. Hrithik is time pass. Abhishek...ugh...don't like him at all..same for Booby and Sunny. Who wears full black rexine clothes at 12 pm to his children's school? None other than the great Govinda. Aamir too simple, met him at a shaadi in jeans! Salman looks too old now. Vivek has class but needs a bit more style factor. So basically theres no Indian actor or even model that makes you go Ooh-la-la!
made cooler by Amrita on November 19, 2003 2:40 PM
No one can match upto you anyway Amrita ;) Agree about the ones getting old - but then no one's old enough to be stylish..
or young enough - after all, we're both the most stylish dudettes around...
*throws nose up in the air*

U said it Amrita. There is no perfect actor or actress in the country, no matter how many deadly stunts, item numbers, or senseless comercials these guys do! (I hope Akshay, Govinda, Yana Gupta, SRK, Kareena, Priety, and a whole lot others r reading this...)
made cooler by Rohit on November 19, 2003 4:10 PM
Hey,
Dont fight over this one!
made cooler by Harry on November 19, 2003 4:27 PM
Yea, Rohit, no talent, and still these guys MINT money - thats life :P
and Harry, whose fighting!?!?
made cooler by Lime on November 19, 2003 4:57 PM
Hmm...So many choices...so less talent...????
Well, My vote goes to Amir Khan, I like the stuble was he alwasy carry him self, and talk about a man with substance....about vivek oberoi..i think he is another one in the ASH band wagon, got his leg fractured :P so, nothing about this kido...SRK is sort of cool...but yeah..the sense of artificiality does take u over :D...in the end as AMRITA said there is none INDIAN actor who makes u go Oh! Lala...well, not entirely true..Lemme just step into the industry :D
made cooler by Sarthak on November 19, 2003 5:04 PM
Sarthak, sure as hell, I and Amrita are just waiting to go Ooh-la-uh? ;)
I do think there are people who're capable of doing and being much more, but if the public is responsive only to the weaker side of their talents, there is not much incentive for them to innovate or improve.
After all we have the Lycra Style MTV Awards happening.. and not the Oscars!
made cooler by Lime on November 19, 2003 5:15 PM
yeah..agreed...but there are a few people..who have the power to represent there weeker side as there power...and lemme just step in ..and we will see who is going Oh! la uh?
made cooler by Sarthak on November 19, 2003 8:20 PM
too early to say anything Sarthak... dreams need to be formulated into realities before big claims are made :D thats life..!
