Kidding Around

Took a day off from school today to catch up on studies I have been missing for the past two weeks due to some unforeseen so-called-commitments. I know, you must be thinking - how can commitments be unforeseen - try being me for a day, you'd know!
Anyway - so how could the day go waste? Dad badly wanted to catch up on a good movie so we went for Pinjar. More about the movie later. But for those wondering if its a go-for you bet it is... a straight 5/5 - no questions asked!
What spoilt the fun were innumerable kids roaming about in the theatre during the entire movie playing perhaps a game of hide and seek. Continuous chattering from their end and funny little kiddies poking their faces to see if you're their parent. Frequent calls of 'Mama?' and wails could be heard. Parents tried to act oblivious to everything - so when Manoj Bajpai said 'Puro' - so followed the kids.
For one moment I just felt like getting up and asking these parents why they spend Rs.150/- for a ticket for someone who doesn't even understand whats happening onscreen - and distrupt all the others who do.
More of these small ones haunting the theatres will see the end of movie-watching altogether...

Hmmm...Pinjar...I have heard good reveiews abt it...and now looks like I will have to bunk college tomorrow, I do hope there will be none of those KIDS here ...hehe :D

Do keep us updated with the Battle, and hey my CUBES are still not increasing

Lime:

Yep - you've heard right.. very nice movie and amazing performances by the lead characters. I do hope no one undergoes that kind of torcher - kids everywhere interrupting every other dialogue...
And to make your cubes increase - you'd have to use sarthaktaneja@go.com. Only then, will it work...

Abhi:

Kids are ok Gur, go to an english movie here during college hours (10-6) and you'll find people necking. Its so disgusting, and more when they have a seat nearby yours. Feel like telling them to get a room.
And you know what the funny part is? you should see them hiding their faces when theres an interval. ;)

Lime:

But of course, kids are great otherwise and its not their fault if they're roaming about creating nonsense - because for them it makes sense.
Its the parents who need to be more aware...
And rgding public image of Bombay - couldn't have expected anything other than u mentioned!

lol.. like abhi said.. in here.. we friends went to a movie Jhankar Beats at Cinemax - Goregaon.. there we saw 2 movies together.. lol.. Jhankar beats and ofcourse couples.. and abt kids.. I love them.. they are really funny.. but when it comes to something which really needs attention and kids takes away attention then its really irretating.. but I love them.. ;)

2koOl:

hey
this is nice ....pinjar is an excellent movie...by the way i also write scripts and directplays also...sometimes i do some acting...but hey NO BOLLYWOOD or HOLLYWOOD for me!

A five * rating??!!?! Isn't that way too much for PINJAR?

Lime:

Dhaval: Yea, kids are great - but like you said, when they crap your attention its irritating.
2kool: Yea.. great movie.. wow - directing sounds damn interesting - would love to go into that one day..!
Rohit: No.. not at all - a perfect movie with a perfect script, couldn't ask for more entertainment from a movie...!

Any updates on the battle?

Preet:

....and what about the cell phones... going on n on - when you are enjoying the movie... :p

Lime:

Sarthak: Nope, no updates... its the final so I guess the judges would be taking it easy. Will definitely post once they come to a concensus, which doesn't seem soon enough.
Preet: Cellphones are not that bad - they've reduced compared to before - people know better and accept/refuse within five seconds on ringing and most of them put it on silent thereafter.. still better..!
