Affording Love

I find it amusing that guys truly enjoy portraying an image much above their reach and regret it later for it cost them much. Mostly it has something to do with girls for they are the irresistable factor.
The blame can be conveniently shifted . Most girls put a good bank balance before a good intellect or even a good physique. So how can a rational guy even dare to portray a tight pocket and risk the only chance of impressing a young lady?
If he gives her flowers, secretly it is considered miserly. If he gives her chocolates, he lacks originality. The stereotypical hit-formulas are crashing just as well as love triangles in Bollywood movies. When a guy goes to shop for his lady for the evening, he has to undergo a lot of turmoil. If he goes empty-handed, he is surely not going to see her again.
My good friend took out a girl after two months of knowing her. The next morning he cribbed his heart out about spending 300 bucks on the movie and an extra 200 on the snacks. For a whole week he had to beg even for a fiver, 'coz he had blown all his pocket money on a singular date. He would've loved to take her out again, only the poor thing would have to ask her to take care of the cheque for him.
My deepest sympathies with those in search of true love - can you even afford it?

Lime,we guys would be indebted to you if U could throw some more light on this for we don't have a clue to what women want. Gurlz... I must be the first male to put it on paper,I don't understand gurlz one bit.. You oughta write a book on it

Lime:

The biggest problem with girls is that they don't understand themselves - for they're such frivolous creatures, always shifting their views. I truly sympathize with you - for being a male, and worse, for having to keep up with the opposite gender ;)

If you take a girl on a date you are supposed to pay for the bills. Coz, it's you who has asked her out. But I agree that it's not always a pleasure for the guy to spend. I think it basically depends on the success of the date. But I can feel your friends pain. Unfortunately, there are very few girls who understand how college-going teenagers manage to take them out.. on "dates". :(

Lime:

I don't know how fair is that. If a girl asks a guy to go to the movies, would she pay? I think its the common assumption to expect the man to pay either way. Even if the date is a big success, eventually you're flat broke - and thats a pretty horrible feelings y'no ;)

hmm well, I dont no why this has nvr happend with me.. lol.. may be I am lucky.. I have been to date like 4 times.. but none of the time I gave whole money.. we just part money in to a half.. lol.. I think I am lucky.. ;) oh but let u know.. 4dats but not all 4girls diffrent.. twice dated in 11th like 2yrs back.. and twice last year.. and still we finiding who dated whom.. lol..

Lime:

I think its nice for a girl to take a guy out once in a while, not fair to raid his pocket money under any circumstance. I believe some girls have a tendency to raid even more just to see the financial power of the man in question. Silly, how this world works!

Nik:

Its not always as Lime thinks.Nowadays, girls pay 50 percent of the money that her man spends on a date. I can tell from personal experiences.
